Hi!
I'm a Cuban digital artist who has been bringing stories and characters to life for over 4 years now, working as a freelance illustrator alongside clients such as The Broken Binding, Rivka Publishing, Platypus Ind, as well as various indie authors and private commissioners. I've had the pleasure of lending my artistic voice to a number of book covers, endpapers, book interiors, and promotional artwork. Back in 2022 I was the main illustrator for the tabletop game Drop Bears, working on a set of 19 cards, including characters and creatures, as well as the box art. My biggest project till date!
I remember as a kid proclaiming I'd be a painter when I grew up. My school notebooks were full of manga style drawings, or figure drawings. I got into Architecture school, and graduated from it, because it was close enough. It wasn't until 2020, when the pandemic hit, I took a chance at actually committing to learning and practicing art on a regular basis. I was a voracious reader by then. At some point I became obsessed with getting good enough so that I could see with my eyes what my mind was conjuring from the words it read in the books.
I'm currently based in the US, and aside from art and book related activities, I enjoy weightlifting and cooking!
